"Pushkin. The Last Duel" is a Russian dramatic detective film of 2006, directed by Natalia Bondarchuk, dedicated to the great Russian poet Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin.
The premiere took place on December 1, 2006.

The film covers the period preceding the duel between the great Russian poet Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin and the cavalier regiment officer Georges de Heecker (Dantes), the duel itself, held on January 27, 1837 on the outskirts of St. Petersburg, the death of the poet and the secret investigation of this tragic event.
According to the authors, the poet was friends with the Emperor of Russia, Nicholas I, and became the victim of an anti-Russian conspiracy of the court camarilla, who played the role of agents of influence of Western diplomats. The circumstances of the death are being investigated by the head of the secret police, Leonty Dubbelt and Colonel Galahov (a fictional character).
